The Great Missionary Hope in Reaching Out to Roman Catholics, DEPENDS on the Great Missionary Hope of Unconditional Election

Back in the late 2000s, the original Papal Busters blog was written with what's often called the Arminian or semi-Arminian, or free will mindset. However, after going full Calvinism or Reformed, this blog has decided to go on this new mission to Catholics, with the mindset of the Great Missionary Hope based on the teaching of Unconditional Election .  Even when we were dead in our trespasses, [God] made us alive together with Christ — by grace you have been saved. (Ephesians 2:5) The great missionary hope is that when the gospel is preached in the power of the Holy Spirit, God himself does what man cannot do: he creates the faith that saves. The call of God does what the call of man can’t. It raises the dead. It creates spiritual life. It is like the call of Jesus to Lazarus in the tomb, “Come out!” And the dead man obeyed and came out. The call created the obedience by creating life (John 11:43). That is how anyone is saved. We can waken someone from sleep with our call, bu...

Using the Papal Antichrist as a Poster Boy for Jerome's Quote?

Here's a meme by the Hugot Seminarista fromthe Philippines. It's just downright funny that this photo of the incumbent Pope Leo XIV (Robert Prevost, the current papal antichrist, 1 John 2:18). There are many antichrists and the dynasty of Popes is just one fulfillment of the prophecy, aside from people like those who claim to be Jesus Christ on Earth (like the late Jim Jones or Apollo C. Quiboloy). This is utterly funny given the well-documented . It's not just anti-Catholic propaganda; it's the hard truth  that the Vatican once forbade the reading of the Bible! Here are some disturbing quotes that can be taken from Catholic writers themselves, further showign the contradiction: ‘In early times, the Bible was read freely by the lay people, and the Fathers constantly encourage them to do so, although they also insist on the obscurity of the sacred text. No prohibitions were issued against the popular reading of the Bible. New dangers came during the Middle Ages. When the...

The Popes on Martin Luther King Jr.

Happy Martin Luther King Jr. Day anyone? Thisman himself was no hero of the faith. King was already exposed some time ago as an adulterous prick . Now, the Vatican New s even gave this chilling detail some time ago about King and what certain Popes thought about him:  Pope St. Paul VI The first was St. Paul VI who received the Baptist minister at the Vatican on September 18, 1964, and encouraged him to continue his peaceful commitment against racial discrimination. Four years later, the same Pope received with dismay the news of the killing of Martin Luther King Jr on April 4, 1968 in Memphis, Tennessee. Three days later, on Palm Sunday, Paul VI recalled the figure of the Nobel Peace Prize winner with words of extraordinary actuality. The Pope prayed that this crime might “take on the value of sacrifice. Not hatred, not vengeance. A new gulf between citizens of the same great and noble land should not be deepened,” he warned. “Rather, a new common purpose of forgiveness, peace, rec...

Roman Catholicism's Gospel is Another Gospel, Which is a False Gospel

Today is Sinulog. It breaks my heart how the idolatry of another Jesus is in the hearts of Cebuanos, the Jesus that "never grew up", the SeƱor Sto. Nino. I would often be called a bigot. However, I love Roman Catholics, and I want them to hear the Gospel . If we're going to look into the problem of Roman Catholicism, we need to look into the Bible (I will quote from the Good News Translation , often used by Roman Catholics) to show the problem behind this "other Gospel". Galatians 1:6-10 6 I am surprised at you! In no time at all you are deserting the one who called you by the grace of Christ, and are accepting another gospel. 7 Actually, there is no “other gospel,” but I say this because there are some people who are upsetting you and trying to change the gospel of Christ. 8 But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel that is different from the one we preached to you, may he be condemned to hell! 9 We have said it before, and now I say i...

A Strange Irony Indeed to Say Luther Added the Word "Alone" and the Good News Bible Says...?

As a Baptist, my faith doesn't rise or fall because of Martin Luther or John Calvin. Both men are just fallible guides . However, I'd like to add an interesting twist to things. It's often said Luther added "alone" to Romans 3:28, which by the way, doesn't need the word alone either! Instead, we need to look into the glaring truth of the details. The Good News Translation renders Romans 3:28 in this way: For we conclude that a person is put right with God only through faith, and not by doing what the Law commands. In fact, this verse is even easier to understand than most Protestant-approved translations. Even stranger, even the New Catholic Bible says it this way: For we maintain that one is justified by faith apart from the works of the Law.  What part of only through faith and apart from the works of the Law can't Roman Catholics understand? The more I think about it, the real problem isn the spiritual deadness of man. 1 Corinthians 1:21 says that the w...

Martin Luther's Excommunication is a Milestone for the True Church

Yesterday was January 3, 2026. More than 505 years ago, the great Martin Luther was finally excommunicated by the Papal Antichrist, Leo X. Luther refused to recant his just criticisms of the unbiblical foundations of indulgences and papal authority. When some Roman Catholics say, "Never ask a Protestant who is the founder of their church.", it's basically Ad Hominem.  Luther said the following: I ask that men make no reference to my name; let them call themselves Christians, not Lutherans. What is Luther? After all, the doctrine is not mine... How then should I—poor, smelly carcass that I am—come to have the children of Christ named after my wretched name? Not so, my dear friends; let us abolish all party names and call ourselves Christians, after him whose doctrine we hold. Luther was fighting not for himself but for the Church that was founded in 33 A.D. Mystery Babylon may have been around longer than Protestantism. However, many "essential" doctrines of Rome...

Congratulations James R. White for Inadvertently Helping Rome Get More Converts?!

This is an interesting attack done by a Catholic fake defender. The word Katoliko means Catholic. It's said that because of James R. White's views and opposition to Rome, has supposedly inadvertently caused youhg Americans and Protestants to discover the "truth and beauty of the Catholic faith" aka Mystery Babylon .  However, as a former Roman Catholic, now a born-again Chrsitian, I thought about my journey from salvation to Calvinism. I was looking into the problem of the American brand of Christianity . Ray Comfort of Living Waters, in his two videos Hell's Best Kept Secret and True or False Conversion , highlights the problems of modern-day Christianity. I read  Hard to Believe by the late John F. MacArthur years ago. The Gospel itself is hard truth . As I read through the book, there was the warning that he gave. Right now, I can only summarize it as, "Preach the Gospel as it is that the non-elect will reject it." Paul David Washer of Heartcry Missio...

Circular Reasoning with Mystery Babylon on Who Gave the World, the Bible

The Roman Catholic institution aka Mystery Babylon brags that she gave us the Bible. However, even secular history dictates the martyrdom of people like John Wycliffe and William Tyndale. The meme I found on Facebook makes me laugh thinking ant how the circular reasoning is just plain absurd. This is the logic of circular reasoning . If we examine the logic here, this also reveals people who actually lack genuine fruit aka not saved  or non-elect . The argument is crazy because it says: The Roman Catholic Church gave the world the Bible.  When I ask, "According to who?" The Roman Catholic replies,"According to the Catholic Church." It creates a series of contradictions. Instead of replying the standard,  every argument is rendered moot by Mystery Babylon because the Pope said so  from the position of Ex Cathedra. Since when did the Pope's words become 100% infallibly free from error all the time ? The problem with papal infallibility is that it actually leaves m...
